Originally from Maine. Yup, she’s a Yankee. Kelly
Demele has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 2002. She has also
lived in Shreveport Louisiana from 1999-2002 and Valdosta Georgia
from 1994-1999. Kelly’s career has ranged from Insurance, Banking,
Investment Banking International Bonds, and computer programming.
She started her nursing career in 1998 at LSU Medical Center in
Shreveport Louisiana on the Labor and Delivery unit where she gained
a love for OB/GYN. She then transferred to a smaller regional
hospital in Bossier City Louisiana on a Perinatal unit taking care
of antepartum, postpartum, and new born nursery for 4 years. After
relocating to the Tampa area, she became a night charge nurse for
St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital Labor and Delivery where they do over
6,000 deliveries per year. Since graduating from USF in Aug 2006,
she has worked as a registered nurse practitioner specializing in
women’s health. She also has experience in operating rooms as a
scrub and circulation nurse. Kelly, is single but currently engaged
to be married. She has one daughter, Heather, who lives in Las
Vegas, Nevada.
