Juanita
Moraga, CNM, ARNP
Juanita was born in Chile, S.A. and graduated from the University of Chile as a midwife and a nurse practitioner. She has practiced a full scope of midwifery in all OB/GYN settings and had her own practice prior to coming to the U.S. in 1970. She has also been a Director of Midwifery and Director of Birthing Centers in the past.
Juanita joined Tampa Obstetrics/Exodus Women’s Center in January 2009 as a Nurse Practitioner.
Juanita is trilingual in Spanish, English, and French and has also earned a Bachelor in Languages for the University of Montclair. Juanita has been a guest speaker at the Annual Congress of Midwives in Chile and was also a Midwife delegate at the World Congress FIGO 2003 in Chile and has attended many of the World Congress of Midwives throughout the years.
Juanita has been a preceptor for Midwifery and Nurse Practitioner students. She has also taught Human Sexuality in colleges and child birthing classes as well. Her hobbies include classical and folklore music, singing, dancing, reading, and traveling.
