Meet Our Doctors
Kelly Demele, ARNP
Originally
from Kittery Maine. Yup, she is a Yankee. Kelly Demele has
lived in the Tampa Bay area since 2002. Formally from Shreveport Louisiana and
Valdosta Georgia. Kelly’s career has ranged from working
in Insurance, Investment Banking dealing with International Bonds,
and computer programming. She started her nursing career in 1998 at LSU
Medical Center in Shreveport Louisiana on the Labor and Delivery unit where
she gained a love for OB/GYN.
She then transferred to a smaller regional hospital in Bossier City Louisiana on a Perinatal unit taking care of antepartum, postpartum, and new born nursery for 4 years. After relocating to the Tampa Bay area in 2002 she became a night charge nurse for St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital Labor and Delivery where they do over 6,000 deliveries per year.
In 2004 she went back to school and graduated from USF in Aug 2006 where she earned her Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitoner specializing in women’s health. She also has experience in the operating room as a scrub and circulation nurse. Kelly and her husband Christopher live in Riverview and have one daughter, Heather, who also lives in the Brandon area.
